Sharing my favourite sunset spots with what3words

Having been an avid fan and supporter of what3words for a while now, I was so excited when they asked me to share some of my favourite places as part of the launch of their new shared lists feature, which was rolled out earlier this month!

As a lifelong sunset lover, I decided to share ten of my favourite sunset watching spots from around the world. Check out my picks below, and in my what3words list here!

PS, if you haven't already downloaded what3words onto your phone, I recommend you do so today!

Mount Maunganui ///smothered.grids.implants

One of the most iconic viewpoints in New Zealand also happens to be an awesome sunset spot.

Diocletian’s Palace ///snaps.flashing.hamper

The bell tower within Diocletian’s Palace is my favourite place to watch the sunset in Split.

Fort Lovrjenac ///lasted.maple.instead

Dubrovnik is another Croatian city that promises amazing sunsets — we may have outstayed our welcome at Fort Lovrjenac to watch the sun go down!

Garda ///info.sways.hamburgers

I literally stumbled upon this view by accident in the Venetian town of Lazise, apparently at the most perfect time of day.

Queenstown ///mediate.jostles.mess

Watching the sun set over Lake Wakatipu was the perfect end to another exciting day in Queenstown.

Broadford ///wrist.giants.surnames

Truly one of the most beautiful sunsets I’ve ever seen — the Isle of Skye did not disappoint on this summer evening.

Lisbon ///thrones.define.kebab

Of Lisbon’s numerous viewpoints, the Miradouro de Santa Luzia was probably my favourite.

Stromboli ///smile.harsher.headliner

Hands down, the most incredible sunset I’ve ever seen. After climbing 900m to the top of an active volcano, this view was the best possible reward.

Kilvey Hill ///twins.worth.hears

I have a soft spot for the city of Swansea, especially when it delivers summer sunsets like this.

Nelson ///busters.blaring.elder

Who knew the little town of Nelson would bring me one of the most wonderful sunsets I’ve ever seen?
